One of Florida's largest newspapers has retracted its endorsement of a Republican congressman after learning that he had cosigned an amicus brief shipped to the Supreme Court in a bid to overturn the presidential election. The Orlando Sentinel had endorsed Florida Rep. Michael Waltz back in October, but rescinded its endorsement of the congressman in an op-ed Friday and apologized to its readers.

FDA Commissioner Stephen Hahn on Saturday pushed back on reports that he was threatened with firing. The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine was authorized by the FDA late Friday. “Representations in the press that I was threatened to be fired if we didn’t get it done by a certain date is inaccurate,” Hahn told reporters on a Saturday morning call.With the number of COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations and deaths rising throughout much of the U.S.

Two undercover police officers dressed as Santa Claus and his elf stopped two suspected car thieves and thee suspected shoplifters outside a Riverside, California, shopping center Thursday. Riverside Police Department's Property Crimes Unit, assisted by officers from the School Resource Officer Unit, conducted a holiday enforcement program -- which they're calling "Santa's Intervention" -- targeting retail theft during the holidays, the police department wrote on Facebook.
