The Education Ministry , in a statement, said they include primary and secondary schools under the ministry, teacher education institutions, matriculation colleges and private schools that are registered with the ministry.
"However, students who wish to remain at the hostel during the period will be under the care of the hostel warden, with their food and drinks to be provided by the school or learning institution concerned,” it said. "During the closure period, the administrators of the affected schools and learning institutions are required to ensure that teachers and students continue with their teaching and learning process at home.
