NSW Labor frontbencher Chris Minns says Environment Minister Matt Kean is “acting like a Labor environment minister” after he appeared going against the government’s policy on gas.
The NSW Government has invested heavily in gas as an energy alternative, but Mr Kean was recently photographed with school students holding signs saying “fund our future, not gas”. “Matt Kean the environment minister is upset at the energy minister, who’s also Matt Kean,” Mr Minns said. “I wouldn’t worry too much about this because he by and large seems to be firing blanks.”
