The teaching intern, who joined the school on Oct 12 for one day prior to the school’s closure on Oct 13, was found to have been in close contact with a positive case.
“The intern was then informed on Oct 18 that she had been in close contact with a positive case and was required to do the Covid-19 test, ” the school said in an internal notice to staff and parents. In light of this development, the school, which already had strict standard operating procedures in place, will conduct a disinfection exercise under the guidance of relevant authorities, it added.
Have seen the expat teachers or staff families (in school T-shirts) in Tropicana areas very relaxed, not wearing mask properly in public and allow their kids running around in the restaurant while others are dining. Hope the school could remind them to respect SOP and others.
I hope the school could also advise teachers, staff & kids to observe SOP & wear masks in Tropicana areas. Have seen them with schools T-shirts gathering with friends & families at restaurant nearby. Kids running in restaurant without mask & adults also not wearing mask correctly
