A Coventry University student, 20, has been found dead in city-centre accommodation.
They were found dead in the Bishop Gate halls, on Tower Street, on October 16. West Midlands Police have said they are not treating the death as suspicious. In a statement, a spokesperson for the university said: ‘We are saddened by the death of one of our students. ‘Our thoughts are with their family and friends at this awful time and we are offering all the support we can to the family.’
They added: ‘We have a full range of mental health support services available for students and colleagues affected by this tragic news. We ask that the family’s privacy be respected.’A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: ‘We were called to the student accommodation on Friday, where the body of a man in his 20s was found.Get in touch with our news team by emailing us at webnews@metro.co.uk.
I would not be surprised if it was suicide, the locked them up worst than animals with no support for food or wellbeing what they expected? I really hope the students go on rent strike.
