NIBONG TEBAL (Bernama): Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Seri Sentosa at Jalan Victoria here is closed for a week from Tuesday (Oct 20) until Oct 26 after a student there tested positive for Covid-19.

Penang Education director Abdul Rashid Abdul Samad confirmed the report and said that the school would be cleaned and sanitised during the closure period.

"The school’s management will ensure that all teachers teach from home via online means throughout the closure, ” he said when contacted by Bernama. On Oct 1, SK Permatang Janggus was closed for eight days after a female teacher there contracted Covid-19. - Bernama
