PNP launches ‘Titser Ko Pulis’ to assist cops’ children

As children and young students are struggling to adapt to the new mode of learning amid the coronavirus pandemic, the Philippine National Police has launched a program that would assist young students in pursuing their early education.PNP Chief Gen. Camilo Cascolan said the program “Titser Ko Pulis” is specifically targeting children of policeman and civilian employees who are having difficulty adapting to the online and modular-type of learning.

The project will be under the Police Community Affairs and Development Group and the PNP Officers’ Ladies Club. Cascolan said the program will not just be set up at Camp Crame but also in Police Regional Offices. The project was already accredited by the Department of Social Welfare and Development and now part of the PNP Gender and Development Plan and Budget.

“Titser Ko Pulis is mainly one of our community engagement programs that would help our young students, especially our personnel’s children and our commitment to the people in helping the communities to build their future,” said Cascolan. Cascolan said seven police personnel and school administrators have been trained and now qualified as DSWD Child Development Center workers in fulfilling the vision of the program.
