A 6-year-old afraid to go outside. A mom scared to send her children back to school, then thrilled at how they've thrived. A teacher worried she'll be ordered back to the classroom and become some kind of test subject.
These are some of the stressed stories of the pandemic-hit school year so far -- but it's impossible to know how widespread the experiences are because there is no national tracking of what happens when children and staff return to schools. And without that tracking, health and education experts say, there's no way to come up with best practices to restart schools, educate children most effectively and open up their parents to commit to their work lives.
According to the National Center for Education Statistics, 14% of children ages 3-18 don't have internet access at home. More than 9 million schoolchildren face difficulty completing assignments online:

Maybe that's because they know there's zero risk involved in going back to school. Boring to cover nothing.
Because it’s going good, that’s why. Can’t have positive press, bad for ratings right ?
They don't want to keep track. It will interfere with their money and power. Pathetic!!!!
Are they getting tested? How often?
