Education Minister Dan Tehan has told Sky News the prime minister was absolutely correct in putting Queensland Deputy Premier Steven Miles “back in his box”. Mr Miles accused Mr Morrison of taking a "week off" from running the country in order to campaign for the LNP in Queensland as the upcoming state election nears. Prime Minister Scott Morrison responded in kind and said the deputy premier should "grow up" following his "careless and juvenile remarks".
The prime minister has been touring Queensland over the last few days promoting his government’s budget, while he also visited the University of Queensland on Monday in support of its efforts in trying to find a COVID-19 vaccine. During the visit, the prime minister’s car was targeted and defiled with red paint by protesters admonishing the government’s refugee record.
DanTehanWannon Except he didn't put him anywhere. Morrison carried on like the petulant child he is and made a fool of himself for all of Queensland to see.
