The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU has highlighted two requirements from the Nigerian government before it ends the ongoing strike.
According to him, the government cannot continue to watch the lecture halls, hostels in the universities decay and not do anything about it, thereby depriving the students of quality education. Ogunyemi said: “The ongoing strike will continue and school will not reopen until the government provides good lecture halls, equipment for the students and also pay salaries of lecturers.
I'm with FG on this,let this ASUU put down their bvn for IPPIS,simple as that, Why are they finding it difficult to do that? They embezzling money ,extort young lecturer salary,to satisfy their greediness IPPIS is the best thing ever,enroll for it and get paid,. FG is right

Honestly, this one asuu said they are fighting for students, ayam not understanding. Because, I've seen where a project became dilapidated and could not be used by the students just barely one year upon completion.....

The asuu chairman should tell the remaining lecturers to submit their BVN for IPPIS l, that is how the government that employed them wants to be paying them. Moreover, the government is owing only lectures that failed to submit their BVN for IPPIS.
Now its not the IPPS issue anymore, its payment of 3-5 months salary. All is well.
