With coronavirus rife and universities focusing on revenues, it feels as though we have been left to fend for ourselves, says Manchester University student Iris Clifford

It’s less than a fortnight into my first term of university and it seems like I have received more emails informing me of coronavirus restrictions than I have about my actual course. I am an undergraduate at the University of Manchester and, like so many others across the country, my introduction to student life has been a shambles.

Entirely predictable (& predicted) and over six months to plan for it. Yet OfficialUoM seems to have failed miserably to do so and is also failing in its response & support which is wholly inadequate

They need to stop moaning, the university lecturers need their £400,000 pay you know😂

In another sense: TRUMP / JOH CO-GOVERNMENT DISASTER Hondurans emigrate from their impoverished, looted. and unsafe country. The regime is sustained with loans from the IMF, World Bank, IDB ... and with weapons

Had people stuck to the rules this would not have happened. Student called into LBC today and admitted they have not been social distancing, wearing face masks or employing regular hand hygiene and only have themselves to blame!
