Awful as this is for her, this terrible experience is on her horrible peers... the students who called in a false report. Not only did they lie and endanger her, it was calculated, planned in advance. Multiple students collaborated.

I don't think the police did anything wrong. The students should be expelled, pay for any trauma she had, the cost for the police to come, and charged. What if they shot this young lady?
SFA is a white school that has significant black population. I went to Sam Houston State, its rival school and both schools are made up similar in student body and in small towns. East Texas has always been a racist place. This isn't surprising. I hope the other girls are charged

This happens across the country constantly. I'm not sure why this is being headlined. Swatting noun the action or practice of making a prank call to emergency services in an attempt to bring about the dispatch of a large number of armed police officers to a particular address.
