"I didn't get to go to college! I had to drop out of high school because my parents didn't have enough funds," she said, saying their family business "burned down" and her college plan "disappeared." The reason why voice work is the ONLY thing I can really do atm is because I can’t apply anywhere else.And I had to work VERY hard to get to where I am in my own industry.— Inka Magnaye September 21, 2020 Many netizens were inspired by Magnaye's road to success, but the voiceover talent was quick to remind everyone that school, while it's "not everything," is still very much important.
