QC gov’t starts distribution of tablet devices for blended learning system

The Quezon City government has started the distribution of 176,000 tablet devices that the city’s public junior and senior high school students will need for this year’s blended learning system.

The local government said the model has met the required tablet specifications published by the national government, which include a quad-core minimum operating system , an internal memory of 32GB ROM + 2 GB RAM, a minimum microSD storage capacity of up to 256GB, at least 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera, and a WiFi or WLAN connectivity.

The tablet devices were procured using the P2.9 billion supplemental budget allotted by the city for this school year.
