Presumably the author is thinking about other people’s children when he argues that too many young people now go to university? He also (deliberately?) misunderstands the breadth of courses offered by universities already.

Yes. Particularly social studies 'woke' degrees. Universities push a woke agenda or generate controversy to drum up more business for themselves. Try getting a job other than at Starbucks with 'Critical Race Studies' on your CV when youre 70k in debt 🤣
