Angry parents have hit out at aWearing shoes which were ‘not polishable’, not wearing a blazer which has not yet been delivered and wearing shoes from last year were cited as reasons why pupils were turned away this week.
Ms Evans says she is disgusted by the uniform policy and is furious about the school’s decision to isolate children if their uniform is not satisfactory. ‘Isolation is a form of punishment. They will be in the same room as other students that aren’t in their bubble which, to me, is not sticking by the social distancing rules.’
Siblings Alex Thompson, 15, and Amy Connor, 14, were sent home from school for wearing the wrong uniform Joanne, mum to Alex Thompson, 15, and Amy Connor, 14, said the situation was ‘ridiculous’. The 37-year-old said she is unhappy about her daughter being put into a room with pupils of different school years and not her own bubble, and she was upset that her son was told off for not having the correct ruler size.
Wear the correct uniform then. It's not hard.

Six weeks not enough to get it right. Oh wait it was 6 months
Children can't possibly learn anything if they are wearing shoes that can't be polished.
So they picked a school with rules & a uniform, then complain when the rules & uniform standards are upheld? Smacks of stupidity really.....
Happened 20 years ago when I was at school. Nobody twisted on then like brats on social media or any platform available. Just tidy up and return back to school.
Maybe give out uniforms for free if it's such an issue
