Experts from the Johannes Gutenberg University, studied the remains of Bronze Age warriors that were slain in 1200 BC on a river bank in what is now Germany.

The ability of humans to digest milk as adults spread over a few thousand years. Researchers studied the remains of Bronze Age warriors for signs of tolerance. One in eight could digest milk compared to 90 per cent in the same area today.
