The EPI report found the seaside town of Blackpool had one of the widest gaps in the country. It is an area of deprivation and home to very vulnerable children and families.
"It can be quite a worry this time of year to make sure everything is in position for the kids getting back to school. He added:"Because of the COVID situation and lack of income coming in and the children being at home more, we've had to reach out to the food bank from our daughter's school."Blackpool headteacher has seen for herself the effects of deprivation on children's life chances.

So lets remember to lift the lower students up. Not bring students down. Equality is not the goal. Some are going to get A's some are going to get D's Having the current goal of everyone getting C's is silly. And lets not forget personal responsibility.
