Primary school students can wear face shields instead of face masks, says Ismail Sabri

In his bi-weekly Covid-19 press conference, the senior minister said that the government had received a lot of complaints as well as requests from the poorer segments of society who cannot afford the RM1 three-ply face masks. “The Health Ministry has agreed to allow primary school children to use face shields but we still encourage the use of both — face masks and face shields — for those who can afford it,” said Ismail Sabri.
