A school bully made my life hell – 20 years on, we met up to talk about its effect on both of us

As I put down the phone to the man who had bullied me 20 years previously, I broke down on the floor, sobbing uncontrollably. Despite holding it together on the call, when I hung up I was distraught – it vividly took me back to how I felt as that scared 13-year-old boy.
