My wife and I have decided that our children will not be going back to school in September. The UK Govt has proved their inability to protect people effectively and show little acumen. It's not scientifically safe and there is not even a shell of a plan in the UK

Show me a day of the PM managing a school...he runs the country should be an easy task. Prove it to the unions/parents.

The Govt Propaganda machine is in top gear pushing ‘back to school is safe’ I’m sure it is as safe as going to a pub, work or hospital but let’s not ignore that there will be some infection spread, there continue to be deaths Govt is accepting a level of C-19 to get economy going

I don’t think the statistics for that check out, but if kids attend school online rather than in person, they will strongly reduce the risk of kids getting the flu and being in car accidents. (But also, please get your flu shot, wear your seatbelt, and be an attentive driver!)

Parents will die. So will teachers and school staff. We know that older children are just as likely to transmit COVID as adults. They could at least acknowledge this - that the real risk is to the adults living and working with children mingling daily in large groups indoors.
