A 15-foot long ichthyosaur that lived 240 million years ago perished straight after eating a 12-foot long reptile

The giant reptile known as Guizhouichthyosaurus was found in China in 2010. Researchers discovered it had the bones of a smaller sea lizard in its stomach.

Could suggest that the species of reptile it ate was in fact poisonous which could be what killed the ichthyosaur after it ingested it? Or it could've sustained an injury & died later? We're still learning about extinct species so some could've been poisonous for all we know
