NSW Minister for Skills and Tertiary Education GeoffLeeMP has revealed more than 115,000 people took advantage of fee-free courses and enrolled in TAFE.

NSW Minister for Skills and Tertiary Education Geoff Lee has revealed more than 115,000 people took advantage of fee-free courses and enrolled in TAFE. The free online courses were added during the peak of the COVID-19 crisis to help people upskill while in lockdown.

“For some people that have been stood down or lost their job, these courses have allowed people to reskill and even change careers,” Mr Lee said. “So it’s great news 115,000 people have taken that opportunity, it’s a record number for TAFE. “It’s certainly changed the lives of many people.”
