I'm a British-born reporter covering breaking news for Forbes, with previous experience at CBS, CNN and Inc. I attended NYU where I studied Politics, Economics and Languages (I speak French and Spanish) and ran the student newspaper.

, published by the ACLU on Wednesday, shows that from 2015 to 2019, an average of 19.4 fatal police shootings occurred per week in the country over the first half of the year.

As of June 30, police officers had fatally shot 511 people, more than the 484 shot during the same period in 2019. Demographic breakdowns of the fatalities show police shootings disproportionately impact Black Americans.

I don’t think cops walk down the road & think, ok, I’ll shoot that one, or have performance reviews because their shooting % is down on last year. People get shot because they are committing crime & the statistics reflect reality. Seriously doubt innocent people are getting shot

The biggest killers in the black community are; abortion and other blacks!

Very sad

Because the ACLU is so unbiased and reliable. 🤣

Listen to the cops and you don't get shot. Why is this so difficult to understand?

Good Lord, what does it take to get crazy cops out of uniform.
