Esona appears to have taken after his dad when it comes to his musical talents, and is often photographed behind the turntables or with an instrument in his hand.

"I can't imagine the kind of pressure you go through being my son and you know I never had a father figure my entire life but i can't thank you enough for allowing me to figure out this fatherhood thing with you," he continued to write. Black Coffee has previously spoken about how having his son at 23 motivated him to work hard and chase his dreams, despite being a student with no job at the time.

"Just incase I don't tell you enough I love you and I'm so proud of you and the man you are becoming. Happy Birthday boy boy or is it man man , [sic]" he ended the moving message.
