KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): The High Court was told on Tuesday (Aug 18) that former Jepak Holdings managing director Saidi Abang Samsudin intended to make a political contribution to Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak as a token of appreciation following the company's success in securing the solar hybrid project in Sarawak from the Education Ministry.

Saidi, 61, was testifying in Rosmah’s trial case regarding the RM1.25bi hybrid solar project involving 369 rural schools in Sarawak. The acts were allegedly committed at Lygon Cafe, Sunway Putra Mall, Jalan Putra; at Rosmah’s residence on Jalan Langgak Duta, Taman Duta; and in Seri Perdana, Persiaran Seri Perdana, Precinct 10, Putrajaya between January 2016 and Sept 2017.
