In a statement provided by Reddick's Duval County school district, Superintendent Diana Greene said she understands the teachers’ concerns. “If you do not heed this science, if you do the easy thing and open these schools, then I cordially invite you to my funeral, to the funerals of my Black and brown students, to the funerals of my colleagues, to the funerals of the people who will be cleaning these infected classrooms, preparing the lunches, driving the buses, because that is what we’re talking about,” Fischer said. “The blood will be on your hands. That is not hyperbole.
Additionally, since younger people who contract COVID-19 may be asymptomatic, they’re more likely to unknowingly spread the virus to more vulnerable populations.found that one in five teachers say they’re unlikely to go return to the classroom this fall.“For me, the decision was extremely difficult because there’s a lot of other factors at play, with my family, with what’s right,” she said.

How utterly ridiculous. 82% of all cases have mild or no symptoms and require NO MEDICAL TREATMENT. There is not one case on the planet of a child infecting a teacher. Children are not super-spreaders. Simply hire people willing to work like the test of us do everytday.

It is a good idea to draft your own obituary. Just had to help write my mother’s a couple of months ago. Came to realize that I should draft one to make it easier on my loved ones in case I die. It’s good planning, not just for this time, but always.

Pretty irresponsible for these teachers not to have a will. The 4 legal documents every adult should have is a will, living will, health care power of attorney & a financial power of attorney. Can’t believe these people are teaching our children.
