KUALA LUMPUR: The Youth and Sports Ministry will cooperate with other relevant ministries to increase the participation of youths in politics regardless of whether the University Colleges Act 1971 (UUCA) is amended or not, says its deputy minister Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal.

KUALA LUMPUR: The Youth and Sports Ministry will cooperate with other relevant ministries to increase the participation of youths in politics regardless of whether the University Colleges Act 1971 is amended or not, says its deputy minister Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal .

"I give my full assurance to improve the cooperation with other ministries as we understand the importance of youth in politics regardless of whether the UUCA is amended or not," he told Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman during Question Time. "God willing, we will carry out cross-ministry efforts in this matter to improve the political maturity of the youth," said Wan Ahmad.

It includes an online debate between youth participants to discuss the country's latest issues that emerged due to the introduction of the Movement Control Order.
