It feels ridiculous to have to point out that downgrading young peoples’ results using an algorithm which is weighted in favour of the wealthy is wrong. We cannot allow this to happen. Surely this is not the kind of society we want?
post 16/18 (gcse/A level etc ) & if YP can’t get back into education/resits after fiasco, what happens 2 their child benefit ? How will families cope with the financial fallout of unemployed teen if no space in schools/ colleges particular during post Covid conditions? PCamhs
In an unprecedented pandemic year, there has to be some leeway allowed. Give the students back their grades and their futures.
Teachers only predict 16% of grades correctly, so this was the only option.
