The Commissioner for Education, Mrs Folasade Adefisayo, has said education will achieve more result if fun is added.

Adefisayo, according to a statement signed by the Public Affairs Officer in the state Ministry of Education, Mr Kayode Abayomi, said this at the inauguration of an educational television programme, titled, ‘The Total Education Show.’

She explained that the programme was an idea of the ministry aimed at enriching the pupils with educational programmes in addition to the curriculum of the daily radio, television and online classes. She listed the focus areas of the programme which included; Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art and Mathematics, Technical and Vocational Education Training as well as Child Protection Advocacy against Child Abuse, adding that the medium would provide an opportunity for children to be enlightened and learn other skills for a futuristic purpose.
