Funeral directors are warning services could be banned altogether as they come under pressure from grieving families asking them to exceed the 10-mourner limit at services. It comes after Australia recorded its deadliest day of the pandemic so far with the deaths of 19 Victorians. Australian Funeral Directors Association president Andrew Pinder said while there was a COVID-19 cluster involving funerals in Sydney last month, there have been none in Victoria.
