The standardised claims relate to people who have missed more than 10 days of work and have medical expenses of more than $735.As of July 30, WorkCover had accepted 33 claims based on contracting coronavirus. They include:Less than five claims from workers in wholesale trade, administrative and support services, public administration and safety, transport, postal and warehousing
The figures show that few, if any, workers caught up in one of Victoria's largest clusters, the outbreak at Cedar Meats Australia, have submitted WorkCover claims, despite the ABC confirming at least one worker spent several weeks in intensive care. Mr Mullaly said teachers who had to attend school in between the two significant Victorian outbreaks had been particularly concerned for their welfare.
Jeez, dramatic much? 🙄 Everyone over the age of 18 should have an up-to-date will. Not to suggest COVID isn't deadly serious, but there are so many ways you could die unexpectedly it's really irresponsible not to have a will in general.
How they claiming WorkCover? Don’t you need to do some work first?
Just shows how more teachers are overreacting to COVID fears than Healthworkers are who have had more infections
In other news, earth is round!
Whinging. Entitled. Poonces. How pathetic. Has any profession come out of this crisis looking worse. I'd be embarrassed if I was a member. I'm a nurse. I turn up everyday.
All professions, trades and workplaces have those who rort the system - teachers just generated more self-serving hysteria than other professional groups!
Lazy grubby lefty teachers
Lazy bastards
Wow, I hope those kids who can’t get the virus are ok?
Because the communist teachers that are indoctrinating our children want free money .... wow go figure
