Hire teachers who can teach and care for themselves at the same time. Many children need school away from the home, a good meal, good role models, etc.

The wealthy people who pay the majority of taxes in NY do not want to come back. They are scrambling now. The entire event is going to backfire in spectacular fashion. Hopefully the fed aka the tax payer does not bail them out.
Tell that to all the folks making sure you can get groceries who are earning minimum wage. And the daycare workers who don’t have a union, many of whom are undocumented. Exactly who’s essential here

I don't think all students are ready to go back to school. The ones who are bullied aren't. Teachers and principals don't help when students are being bullied. It might be best to have those bullied students learn at home. It's hard to learn in a stressful envirnment.
