LONDON - The University of Oxford’s possible COVID-19 vaccine could be rolled out by the end of the year but there is no certainty that will happen, the lead developer of the vaccine said on Tuesday.
The experimental vaccine, which has been licensed to AstraZeneca , produced an immune response in early-stage clinical trials, data showed on Monday, preserving hopes it could be in use by the end of the year. She said it needed to be shown to work in late-stage trials, there needed to be large quantities manufactured and regulators had to agree quickly to license it for emergency use.
Late-stage trials are under way in Brazil and South Africa and are due to start in the United States.

Good news If we only can bring the Virus under Control Like the HIV virus HPV and the rota -virus .We could try out similar vaccines that boost immunity and reduce the viral load we should also try out ARV's for similar viruses .
Can we please stop these Vial Lame, Lable's no MD would or Nurse would, can draw from? WTF?
The Oxford vaccine is said to only give immunity for two months. I wouldn’t want it if that’s all it does. If however it reduces the severity of an infection caught later, then it’s worth thinking about.
That good to hear that there could be a vaccine for Coronavirus keep the good work up!
