Briones said it is important to continue classroom classes even in a limited capacity to help nurture learners as a “complete and whole individual and not as a robot.” | DJEsguerraINQ

If you can do this in spite of COVID-19 on a limited scale, then we will have fulfilled our mandate to help nurture a complete and whole individual and not a robot,” she added.

[Human interaction is important for them to learn how to deal with fellow children, with teachers, with adults within the school. If you can do this in spite of COVID-19 even on a limited scale, then we will have fulfilled our mandate to help nurture a complete and whole individual and not a robot.]

The DepEd chief likewise noted the “very minimal” effect of COVID-19 to children in the country, claiming that only 16 or 0.87% of the country’s total COVID-19 deaths are children.

[The effect of COVID on children is very minimal. Maybe it is a blessing to our young people that they are not too affected by this COVID-19 pandemic.]

DJEsguerraINQ So what’s the plan?

DJEsguerraINQ Does the need of human interaction to facilitate learning exceeds the children's need to survive this pandemic? You can bring back face-to-face learning, not their lives.

DJEsguerraINQ Dear secretary Briones, please read “The Lost Tools of Learning” by Dorothy Sayers.

DJEsguerraINQ This pandemic is not forever! Why not wait until this is all over for the sake of the children's safety?! After all of this is over, you can have all the classroom classes you want! The kids won't lose their social/interaction skills is just one school year. 😡

They will only allow face to face if wala record ng covid sa lugar from the start ng pandemic at hindi whole week atleast once a week.

DJEsguerraINQ As if we're not talking of LIFE here... buhay po ng mga mag-aaral ang malalagay sa risk. It's not worth the risk.

DJEsguerraINQ What? Briones is not human? She doesn't care and wants to spread the virus.

DJEsguerraINQ Aware ba syana may pandemia, parang minsan nakakalimutan nya

DJEsguerraINQ is important ka dyan mas importante buhay nang bata madam kaysz pag aaral oee nabuang nman ka . bka pa abot pa skuila skuilahan dli mana mudagan intawn . ang kinabuhi sa bata isa lng . dli na pwde mabalik .. bakit kaya gusto nyo mag start yung class?

DJEsguerraINQ they also need: to not die

DJEsguerraINQ So I just found this meme

DJEsguerraINQ This just shows that being well educated doesn't always translate into real intelligence. Protect the youth not the proprietors who urge you to keep pushing to reopen classes. Nurture? How can you do that with 50 plus kids in a classroom with the pandemic just around the corner?

DJEsguerraINQ How are you going to nurture them if they get sick because you expose them to the virus? Will you pay for their treatment? Are you sure you can protect & shield them from the virus?

DJEsguerraINQ Mas imporrante siguro ung healtg and safety, aanhin mo yang 'learners as complete and whole individual' kung magkakasakit naman

DJEsguerraINQ More important then keeping them safe and well and covid free it seems

DJEsguerraINQ They will have a lot of time to do that after covid-19 is cleared and out of the picture. In the meantime, this is not a necessity.

DJEsguerraINQ really is this really necessary my g we haven't yet flattened the curve and y'all ready to send students back to school 'face to face' yall risking lives here and the fact that we don't have vaccine yet and millions of ppl dying?

And if ever ma quarantine sila, sagot nyo lahat ng food

DJEsguerraINQ Question: What are the measures of DepEd if ever students and teachers get infected with Covid-19?

Stupid but alive is better than smart but dead.

DJEsguerraINQ ibabala na naman ang mahihirap

DJEsguerraINQ

DJEsguerraINQ push na push niyo talaga e no

DJEsguerraINQ Mag retire ka na nga. Your suggestions are obsolete katulad mo

DJEsguerraINQ So far, gov't plans towards COVID is from poor to mediocre performance. Having said that, for sure this plan is not an exemption. So Thank you, but won't risk my child's life.

DJEsguerraINQ

DJEsguerraINQ Easy for them to say.. The officials are not the ones going to class and exposing themselves to danger. The kids and teacher will be taking all risks if face to face classes will be implemented.

DJEsguerraINQ Parang Di nagkaCOVID eto. Nabuang na ata si Lola. Pahinga nalang kayo. Di sya makasabay sa agos Ng panahon.

DJEsguerraINQ you know what we need? we need new set of young and competent cabiner members. “old age doesn’t mean more knowledge”

DJEsguerraINQ But you miss the giant picture here. Education can be further delayed or altered but health must not!!

DJEsguerraINQ You are only after the release of your budget... that’s your justification.

DJEsguerraINQ tseh, ayaw lang paglipasan ng panahon. get with the program.

DJEsguerraINQ What about homeschooling with your mom as the teacher and your dad as the guidance counselor?

DJEsguerraINQ Dangerous papo lola. Let's protect the youth. Skip the School year for those who can't afford online.

DJEsguerraINQ OA. As if forever na ang non face-to-face learning style.
