New NSW-Vic border zone labelled a 'disaster' by residents

There is anger and confusion among many residents and businesses along the New South Wales–Victorian border, withRestrictions over who can get a permit to cross the NSW/Victorian border tighten from midnight

Julie Zeinert says her business will be greatly impacted if she can't get a permit to cross the border.

Should not need to be policed but unfortunately it does and you cannot please everyone equally.

It has me stumped why it needs to be directly on the border. Make it in one side of town or the other. It is just an arbitrary line to limit the spread, it is more effective as less people cross it.

They don't look that unhappy about it.
