It's not about if the mask protects the wearer. It's about blocking the spread of any infected to uninfected. Always was. Seeing how many stupid/ignorant/delusional exist, I'll keep my n95s
No mention of what type of mask. No specific locations. No specific examples. Vague reference to a JAMA article last year. Yet, there is a growing body of evidence. Yeah, right. 🙄

I don't get how it takes all this time for folks to figure out that masks protect us from spreading & inhaling infected spittle. You're creating a barrier- like a rubber or an umbrella.
On a lighter note- if there are hamster studies, as the Dr says, then there must be a picture of a hamster wearing tiny mask, right?
Honest question, if medical professionals have been wearing masks/PPE for years, haven't there already been studies on their efficacy?
TerryMondry Really mindblowing COVID-19 avoidance info from a source I trust. Stay safe, my friends.😘
Bullshit
The real revelation here is that the *amount* of virus you're exposed to dictates if or *how sick* you will get. In countries or locations where mask usage is 100%, when there's an outbreak, 95% of cases are asymptomatic!
oh wow who would have thought...
And here.
I’ve been saying it since end of March.
MackayIM No serious person ever doubted this.
of course. If a mask is of homogeneous material, how could it fail to work both ways, maybe 5% but I bet higher, depending on mask. It has to have some filtering capacity each way. Will drop with distance and force. We have squandered lives telling people it only protects others.
