Parents previously had the option to remove their children from parts of sex and relationship education lessons if they were uhappy with the content.

A group of parents have complained to the government before compulsory relationships education for all school children starts in September.

A DfE spokesperson said: ‘From September, relationships education will be compulsory for all primary school-aged pupils, relationships and sex education will be compulsory for all secondary school-aged pupils, and health education will be compulsory for all state-funded school pupils.‘These subjects are designed to foster respect for others and to educate pupils about healthy relationships.

Sex and relationship education has come along way since 1988 when Section 28 was enacted, thereby banning the ‘promotion of homosexuality’. The upcoming changes to the school curriculum will replace guidelines made 20 years ago. Josh Bradlow, head of policy at Stonewall, said of the introduction of compulsory classes was ‘timely and important’ and ‘reflects the world that we live in’ earlier this year.

Teaching 4 years old masturbation and consent is inappropriate. This syllabus came from WHO, it is the serialisation of kids, it is completely inappropriate and parents should have the right to remove their kids from this sick agenda. defundWHO What Take no attention of what the government say, they DO NOT have the right to indoctrinate your children. Simply claim your children or ill or whatever, they can’t prove anything. Disgusting rules
