the sad fact is that the school is probably in the right due to the fact they have to consider the rights and safety of all the other pupils that don't deserve to be kicked and what not plus on top of that until she in diagnosed they wont get any help budgetwise to get extra help

Sounds like someone doesn't like her whiteness. If she were black, Indian or Chinese they would help her.

How about just getting your kid to behave in school rather than trying to label her with trendy 'isms'?

not a lot of support for autism at this age, my stepson is autistic and was failed by the system and not diagnosed properly till he was 8 this set him back a lot when he was branded as just naughty, yes you can be naughty and autistic at the same time. The system is flawed

Isn't she in a setting more suitable for the 4 days, receiving more one to one contact and an education? What's she complaining about?

I have a 17 year old who has just been signed off from college and rather than offer any solutions they are just saying she doesnt need to attend - OFSTED issue I don't need to read the article to know that the issue is they just don't know how to cope with her. Some mainstream schools shouldn't claim to accept and cope with autistic children to then stick them in isolation or exclude them, disgusting!
