Here's why 7 Ivy League schools are backing Harvard and MIT's bid to overturn Trump's ban on international students:

an amicus brief on Sunday in support of the lawsuit filed by Harvard and MIT in a Boston federal court last Wednesday.

Trump's alma mater University of Pennsylvania, Brown and Cornell, say the government's policy on foreign students"drastically changed". It comes after Immigration and Customs Enforcement blindsided institutions last week by stating that international students on nonimmigrant F-1 and M-1 visas would no longer be able to take full online classes and remain in the U.S., as colleges eye Zoom lectures, and video tutorials, as workarounds to safely reopen amid the pandemic.

This article covers only the half of it. The other part to the ICE directive is that intn'l students must be in the US if their college is hybrid - they cannot remain in their own country, else their F1 visa will be revoked. That's not fair either.

💵...even though it is the right thing to do...
