Education Secretary DeVos Renews Call for School Reopening

Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos took to the airwaves on Sunday morning to lend support to President Trump’s push to reopen schools, while other administration and state-level officials called for caution, as tensions among policy makers over how best to manage the coronavirus pandemic shift to the nation’s educational institutions.

Ms. DeVos, speaking in multiple Sunday morning news shows, emphasized the Trump administration’s view that children need to return to school in the fall, stressing the risks to children’s education...

If you feel so strongly about re-opening schools this fall, I as of you to challenge The President to send Baron to a public school.

Lazy teachers and unions with their dem political chums will fight tooth and nail to stay home and stay paid while everyone else bleeds.....

Devos is cOmpletely unqualified for this job and to be able to make a call on whether the schools should re-open. Dr fauci should be making the call not worthless Besty Devos. What a disgrace.

The argument about 'going back to school' is falsely premised, since such kids will not be going back to school. They will be going back to a coronavirus snakepit, and the argument that youth can handle it is misplaced in view of, among other things, its morphing into new forms.

DeVos undermines America's public schools constantly. More charter school money which is government sponsored segregation and funding private schools with taxpayers money while public schools continue to be woefully underfunded. DeVos has an obvious agenda, and it's not good.
