In scenes similar to the events that led to George Floyd’s death, a video emerged on Saturday of a police officer kneeling on a man’s neck in Allentown, Pennsylvania, just days after the city’s police departmentto the “Black Lives Matter to Lehigh Valley” Facebook page on Saturday evening.

The clip shows three police officers restraining a man on a sidewalk, with one leaning on the man’s head with his elbow, before applying his knee to the man’s neck. The arrest took place outside St. Luke’s Sacred Heart Hospital, at around 6:45p.m., according to the Facebook page.Peaceful protesters later descended on Allentown’s Hamilton district on Saturday night, in demonstrations organized by the Facebook group.in a statement that it is “aware of this incident [and] is working to investigate it, as we do [with] all Use of Force related matters.

“What good is a use of force policy if Allentown lives will still be disregarded?! It is clear and evident that black and brown lives DO NOT matter to the city of Allentown!”The clip disturbingly recalls the actions that led to the death of unarmed Black man George Floyd in Minneapolis on May 25. White police officer Derek Chauvin knelt on Floyd’s neck in a nine-minute clip seen around the world that prompted widespread anti-racism protests in the U.S. and globally.

In many states kneeling is standard procedure, because it's effective... but nobody said they should do it until the suspect is dead. 🤔

HERE WE GO. PUSH THE FEAR. PUSH THE AGENDA. PUSH PUSH PUSH
