Universities need to do more earlier on to make students realise a degree is not enough... and they need to volunteer or get paid internships alongside their degree! There’s an underlying problem of terrible careers advice right from GCSEs to graduation that needs to be fixed!

Would a university really be allowed to go bust?There are reports of universities facing bankruptcy but would ministers let them go out of business? Yes, and mid-term too. We would be better off without some of the third rate ones which offer worthless ‘degrees’! At (an arbitrary) £9k per year per student how on earth can they go bust
