I worked as a maths teacher in a British state school for 3 years. I was shocked by the amount of waste and the general incompetence of senior staff.

I was a Governor at a school where the Head had a weekly meeting with a union to avoid "problems" - education is being held to ransom by left-wing NUTters.

I don’t doubt some schools are badly managed but that doesn’t mean the children should be made to suffer! They won’t get this time back and it should be a priority for any government to make sure that our children receive the best education possible
