Schools in Italy will reopen in September with social distancing measures in place, Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte and Education Minister Lucia Azzolina announced

Schools were shut in March in an effort to prevent a further spread of the virus

According to the government’s announcement, schools will be required to stagger morning arrivals and seat students one meter apart from each other. Meals must also be eaten in classrooms, rather than in school cafeterias. Italy’s Education Minister conceded that there are"some issues" regarding the lack of space within school buildings to accommodate all students under socially distanced conditions, cautioning that some 15% of students would be affected by the lack of space.

"Let the students breathe culture…why not? Take the smaller children to parks when the weather allows it and let them be close to nature,” Azzolina said.

The South fucked this up for the US. Thanks dummies.

This is something that I am seriously against because they are just kids and don't take things that seriously. And now 'they can't even go near their FRIENDS' this is almost impossible to happen.

And Italy went onto lockdown before the US and stayed locked down longer. We’re screwed because of Trump.

Why are we in such a rush? Can we find a cure first

Mississippi was left out of your reporting states with most daily cases. This past week highest and next to highest 1092 and 611 with some towns making mask wearing mandatory.
