Meanwhile, disabled children’s friendships, learning, communication, behaviour, as well as their mental and physical health, are said to be suffering. Amanda Batten, chair of the Disabled Children’s Partnership, which carried out the poll, said support was being stripped bare during the pandemic.Families with disabled children are crying out for more support.”Of those who had previously received support, 76 per cent has seen it stop.
