Shadow education minister Tanya Plibersek has said it is a "shame" that Prime Minister Scott Morrison encouraged international students to go home earlier in the pandemic, with most ineligible for coronavirus welfare payments.
Ms Plibersek said international student fees were largely used to fund university research, and a drop in numbers would impact the sector unless local students were asked to pay more, or the taxpayer made a greater contribution. "What we saw was very large numbers of people coming together and as we saw from the media reports, in many cases people had difficulty maintaining physical distance from other people," Professor Kidd said.
"We're continuing to be very cautious and obviously we need to see what happens over the next few days." "By doing this, they have put the whole track back to recovery at risk. Any further action on this front would be absolutely unacceptable." "These protests, they start on a fair point... now it's been taken over by other much more politically driven left-wing agendas, which are seeking to take advantage of these opportunities to push their political causes."China urging its citizens not to go to university in Australia"One thing Australia will always do is act in our national interest and never be intimidated by threats wherever they come," he said.

As long as it only kills whites, or the police, it won't matter.
If there’s no spike then we can be assured that due to incubation periods while in lock down it’s been contained and time to go back to business. Lift restrictions
Why is this story being 're-published' on twitter (at least) daily? Of course it will be easy for the government to blame any spikes on BLM protests, rather than the nationwide relaxation of restrictions that occurred in the week prior.
As there has been in cafes, grocery stores and street markets
