Dr. Cynthia Kudji, left, and her daughter Dr. Jasmine Kudji proudly display their residency placements at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center New Orleans. Her dreams were put on the backburner when she became pregnant with Jasmine as a senior at Tulane University, where she received a B.S. in biology as an undergraduate. Instead, Cynthia attended William Carey University for nursing school and completed her master’s of science in nursing at Loyola University in 2006.
While Cynthia went to the University of Medicine and Health Sciences in the Caribbean island of St. Kitts, her daughter attended Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans.“We really are each other’s best friends and we constantly rely on each other,” Jasmine said. “Medical school is not set up to work by yourself.”Courtesy of Dr. Jasmine Kudji

How about just mother and daughter in the headline why must you constantly point out race. Can’t we just be proud of these two women?
jamaicansdotcom They're both beautiful and look like a twin...congratulations ladies.

This is so damn awesome!!!
It’s great that they both accomplished their goals. Congratulations, does it make a difference if they are black ? I’m all for the protest and police reform but let’s not put a label on everything. Hell of a job to both.
I wanna fuck both of them at the same time.
awesomesauce 🙌🏽👌🏽
How great - congratulations to both of them !!
Cut the umbilical cord already.
The story is wonderful, and brings back memories as my mother and I graduated from nursing school and started practicing together also. Happiness and success to you both in you life and careers.
Awesome
XYX9999 qwambybee hmmmph?

Focusing on skin color is racist. Haven't you learnt anything from all the riots and looting? Do you also name hair-color and eye-color? Media provokes looting for ratings? NEWS MEDIA IS RACIST. DEFUND NEWS MEDIA.
Holy cow, what news . Two black people became doctors! No? Holy cow, two women became…!? Would you have written, 'White mother and daughter graduate together?' No. See the issue?
NPR beat you to the story by 2 weeks.
Why 'black mother' Why not just 'mother'?
They look like sisters👌
Yes, they can now party together b/c there is nothing going on in the hospitals for the PLANdemic!
That’s so awesome congratulations ladies or should I say doctors.
Congratulations I’m sure you will have a great career ahead of you both. 😁
Wow!!! Impressive
Jaeandthecity Black girl magic!
And like that the LEFT stopped calling Blacks 'African' as the color now that the BLM left wing cult wants their agendas pushed.
Black, White, red, yellow. Does it matter? Congratulations to them both! 👏
What should be in the news. Not oppressed but living a life like everyone else.
Congrats to mother and daughter on your achievement, irrespective of your color and race. Color doesn't matter. LivesMatter
Both of you are beautiful.
Any interesting news to report at all?
They two are so beautiful. I love their bright smiles
That's some serious oppression
PragObots Best study group ever?!?! Great story. Congrats!
It's not the color of their skin but because they are WOMEN....strong and wise.
Who’s the mother and who is the daughter Jesus they are both gorgeous
God bless the melanin. 😍
But I thought blacks were oppressed?
lookin more like sisters. brains and beauty!
Let me fix that headline for you.. “Mother and Daughter graduate together from medical school”
How about just referring to them as a mother and daughter? You are part of the problem.
That's wonderful !
No need to mention the colour of their skin!!! That's not what make their achievements great
Thanks for pointing out that they're both black, I'd have missed it otherwise.
Wow 🤩 that’s Awesome 👏 congratulations ladies
Congratulation
I cannot tell which one is the daughter and which one is the mom. ❤️
How about instead of pointing out the color of their skin you just say mother and daughter. This is part of the reason there's so much racism, because of our need to point out the color of someones skin when it is absolutely unnecessary
are they black or are they american
