acorns What a terrible excuse! It is the weather, too much wind, too much rain. He probably is going to take at least 6 years to get a BA, 1 or 2 semesters of online classes will not take away his college experience.
acorns The fence or sitting on the fence is what 25-40% of Americans do before voting time from 3yrs up to final voting day. Its like this for many reasons like undecided, confusion, the candidates are even or terrible and waiting for better proposals. The fence no longer exists.
acorns Because they can’t party and get the “real college experience” of contracting herpes and continually experiencing alcohol poisoning
acorns If they can riot, they can sit in a classroom. It is enough of the brainwashing and time to get back to STEM!
acorns Go to work and get an education at the same time. Imagine that? Many ppl have done it before you. Many careers don’t need college. HVAC, welding, plumbing...and we need these ppl. Post HS Ed is not always the answer!
acorns Can you blame them. Who wants to pay the same price for online classes (for those colleges not opening), or sit in big lecture halls with the virus still going on strong (for those that opening up in the fall)? Maybe taking a semester off is good idea till we get past this.
