SIBU: A teacher survived with only light injuries after she lost control of her car which flipped over eight times in an accident on Sunday (June 7).

The State Fire and Rescue Department said the victim, Cynthia Sulaiman, 30, was travelling from Serian to her hometown in SK Kpg Kebuaw, Dalat when the accident occurred.

"We received a distress call at 2.06pm and when firemen from Betong arrived at the scene, the victim had already been helped out from the car by members of the public," it said.Article type: free
